Compañía Global de Pinturas was founded in 1945 and currently operates from one site in Rionegro (45 Km from Medellin, Colombia) Compañía Global de Pinturas is the largest paint company in the Andean Community (Colombia, Venezuela, Equador and Bolivia). The company currently has around 770 employees of which over 80 are in the R&D and QC departments.

Fields of activity include decorative (W.B and S.B) ,Industrial, Maintenance,Road Marking,Marine,Car Refinish, Powder (decorative and FBE) and Wood coatings.

Compañía Global de Pinturas is part of the Inversiones Mundial Holding Group which operates mainly in the Andean Community but also in Peru, Central America and the Caribbean.

The Group is also involved in Chemicals (resins, emulsions, polyesters, adhesives etc) inks, cans, (metal and plastic), aerosols, polyester pipes, construction products and distribution.

Compañía Global de Pinturas is a member of the Nova Group.
