The largest paint company in Portugal and in the Iberian Peninsula, established in its present form in 1926.
The company has its main factory and head office in Maia, near Porto.
The group currently has around 750 employees in Portugal out of a total of ca. 1400 of which over 110 are in the R&D and Quality department.
Fields of activity include architectural and decorative paints, industrial finishes for wood, plastic and metal, paints for the transportation market and protective coatings.
CIN is also a major producer of powder coatings.
CIN has a major presence in the protective coatings market where it is active throughout Iberia and which includes specialist fire retardant coatings.
Recently acquired by CIN, the French company enables CIN to enlarge its footprint in the western European market. Celliose is focused in Industrial Finishes with two factories in France and one in China.
Advanced UV technology is one of the company’s strengths, having a strong synergy across their business units (metal, wood and plastic industry).
With an high know how technology, the French company supplies diverse industries such as furniture, perfume bottles, skis, fire-fighter helmets, optical disks or mobile phones.
CIN's Group includes (apart from France) associated manufacturing companies in Spain, Angola, Mozambique and Cape Verde. The group operates two main manufacturing sites in Portugal, two in Spain, and one each in Angola and Mozambique as well as Cape Verde
